Beit Bros. Super Markets, Inc.

Arthur, Eric, & Nathan
Beit Bros. Super Markets, Inc. has been a family owned and operated company serving eastern Connecticut since 1908. We pride ourselves on bringing you the finest shopping experience you'll find anywhere! We take pride in being your neighborhood supermarket and always give you the extra personal service and attention for which we are famous! Known throughout the community for quality goods and services for generations, our primary origins began in the cattle business, opening our first meat market in Norwich in the early 1900's. Shortly after, Beit Bros. expanded into supermarkets. Our family business is now a two store, full service supermarket operation. Family, community, and tradition have long been key to our success
Beit Bros. has come a long way since the old meat market started by Samuel and his sons Nathan, Max, and Louis. This success would not have been possible without the lessons of hard work and giving back to the community. These lessons have been passed down from generation to generation; passed down to Seymour, then Arthur and Nathan, and now down to the next generation. Together, working with a dedicated staff, we have strengthened our customer service and quality goods reputation in the competitive Connecticut marketplace, reinforcing the foundation of our family business tradition since 1908.

Club Members Travel to Carlisle
The first weekend in June, club
members Bob & Mary Azukas, Frank Iadone, Bo & Duke Miller met up for a
weekend of fun at the Carlisle Ford Summer Nationals. And boy, what fun
we had.
We met at Bob and Mary's house in the
morning and headed out for Pennsylvania. Mid morning we stopped and had
a wonderful breakfast in New York and then continued to travel. Our next
destination was in Pennsylvania to tour the Yuengling Brewery, the
nations oldest brewery. The free tour showed us the brewing process
along with everything you want to know about making beer. As an added
treat, we sampled some of the cold beer that they had on tap. After the
tour, we settled into our hotel room to get plenty of rest for our day
at Carlisle.
We woke up early and headed to Carlisle
where the weather was as hot as the Mustangs. If you have never been to
Carlisle, and you are a car enthusiast, I strongly suggest you take a
weekend and go see what it is all about. Duke and I walked from the time
we arrived until the last event of the day was over (burnout and beauty
contest). We walked so much we were sore for three days after the event.
There were areas and displays we just did not have enough time to see.
Mustang vendors, Mustangs and other Fords were everywhere. If you need
anything for your Stang you could find it there. Surprisingly, even
though we went in different directions we bumped into Bob and Frank on
two occasions, chatted for a few minutes then continued on. We were also
surprised to see club member Becky Parkos's 2007, Tasca Ford Mustang on
display in one of the buildings.
We had a great time but did not bring
enough money to buy all the Mustang parts I would have liked to. Duke
and myself have decided that we will be going next year. We may even
take a Mustang. Who knows? I want to thank Bob and Mary for making the
arrangements for us and showing us a great time.
